The Wellspring Academy is a dynamic Rwandan school currently offering a quality Christian education to 225 students in K-4.  Four years ago, Wellspring partnered with a visionary Rwandan church called Christian Life Assembly to make this dream a reality.  Since that time, we have managed to complete the primary school facilities (see the gallery for pictures) and are now starting on the Secondary School.  The school will eventually offer a quality education to 650 students from its community each year, including orphaned and impoverished children.  It is already operationally sustainable.      

The Wellspring Academy provides a Rwandan appropriate education with a value-added curriculum that is taught from a Christian perspective. This curriculum, unique to the Rwandan context, will not only meet all national requirements but also recognize and address the needs of the Rwandan child, prepare students for an interconnected world without minimizing the value of their own culture, and serve as a catalyst for community development.

The motto of the school reflects its commitment to prepare servant leaders for the future of Rwanda:  "Not to be served, but to serve."
