Rwandan Children

Volunteer

Much of the success achieved by our ministry comes from the prayers, gifts, time and energy of dedicated people like you who want their lives to make a difference in the World. One of the best ways to get passionate about empowering a new generation in Rwanda is to volunteer.

Our volunteers are people like Lyn Rosten, who traveled with her husband Jesse and a film crew to help make a film about the healing taking place in Rwanda following the genocide.

They are people like Ian Malnis, a young and passionate soccer player, whose interest in a career in international development led him to volunteer with Wellspring for three months as a project assistant.

They are people like DJ Devries, a man with a lifetime of construction and carpentry experience, who returned to Africa for 10 weeks to outfit classrooms at the Wellspring Academy.

They are teams like the Cedar Grove Baptist Church in Surrey who spent two weeks in Rwanda building a playground, running a Children’s Festival, and ministering to a group of former prostitutes.

They are pastoral couples like Mike and Kathy Richardson, who led a Quest team of students from Columbia Bible College, on a three week trip to Rwanda.

They are teachers like Sharon Van Dijk, Marilyn Hubler, or Gavin Brettenny that have offered wisdom derived from their experience to our teacher training program.
