- Teaching is a natural gift for Mercy, and she recognizes the opportunity a teacher has to influence, help and shape people.
- Born and raised in Eastern Kenya as the youngest of ten
- Graduated form the University of Nairobi
- Came to Rwanda with her family in 2004
- Married with three young children
