The Ride: October 2+3 2010
The Wellspring Lake2Lake Ride is a two-day fully supported ride stretching over 220km in BC’s Okanagan & Shuswap.
Day 1: Cyclists will travel approximately 115 km on mostly rural, scenic roads via Armstrong and Salmon Arm to Eagle Bay Camp on the shores of Shuswap Lake.
Day 2: After overnighting at Eagle Bay Camp riders will return 105 km to Vernon via Silver Creek and O’Keefe Ranch.

With safety being top of mind, Wellspring Lake2Lake will have St. Johns first aid in attendance, 5 rest stations over the 220km (with light snacks/lunch and water provided), volunteers supporting riders with directional signage plus support vehicles en-route.
Rider snacks:
Day 1: rider snacks will be at Highland Park School, Black Burn Park (light snack), Balmoral Station and at the end at Eagle Bay Camp.
Day 2: rider snacks will be at Balmoral Station, Silver Creek School (light snack) and at the end Lake Kalamalka.
Snacks – fruit, energy bars and water station plus washroom facilities
Light snack – selection of bagels, fruit, energy bars and water station plus washroom facilities
