Wellspring has ongoing major projects which provide critical infrastructure for establishing quality Christian education in Rwanda. We welcome you to donate towards a project we are currently working on:
1. Dual purpose facility for Whole School Development Program and Wellspring Academy Secondary School
Purpose: Over the next two years this building will be the hub for Wellspring’s Professional Development Centre and Whole School Development Program. It will include offices for teacher training staff and meeting space. Once the Wellspring Academy begins its Secondary School the building will become a learning centre for the Academy.
Start Date: February 2008
Anticipated Completion: June 2008. The building is almost completed. Our crew is just working on putting finishing touches and installing the electrical!
Anticipated Cost: $60,590 ($42,690 for construction and $18,100 for outfitting) Thanks to a generous donation from the Felsen Foundation, we have been able to cover the costs for this building. Stay tuned for details on our next infrastructure project.

2. Send a 40 ft. container full of building supplies from Vernon, British Columbia
Purpose: Wellspring supporters in Vernon, BC, led by Gerry Malnis and Craig Fleischacker, are currently filling a 40 ft. container with building materials to send to Rwanda this summer. The container was generously donated by Barry Siebenga from Big Steel Box in Salmon Arm and is being stored by Dave Poggemoeller from North Enderby Timber.
Start Date: March 2008
Anticipated completion: We want to see the container shipped by June 2008 and hopefully it will be in Rwanda by mid Fall.
Biggest Needs: If you are interested in contributing to the large list of items our team is seeking to fill the container, please contact Gerry Malnis at gerandshirl@shaw.ca after looking at the list of supplies still needed.
