Nearly 100 people attended a rough cut screening of Rwanda: Hope Rises on Saturday afternoon, April 21st at the beautiful Vancity Theatre. They were shown a 38 minute version of the film and asked to provide their feedback. Film Director Trevor Meier was excited about the new ideas this feedback will inject in the film as he prepares to complete it over the next year. This film has been a labour of love, a two year work in progress that continues to take shape as those involved in the film learn more about the context of the country, and how to portray what is happening in Rwanda effectively to others. Thanks so much to all who came out to show their support for this project! |
