We have just wrapped up a busy Missions month at the Bridge Church in Fresno, California.  The warmth in which we were received, the heart of the people who engaged with this project, and their generosity will forever be remembered.

The final results speak for themselves.  $90,000 raised for a Learning Resource Center and Sporting and Recreational facilities at the Wellspring Academy, 150 backpacks with school supplies donated to children of coffee farmers in rural Rwanda, $14,000 raised for Dr. Nicholas Hitimana's income generating project (www.ikirezi.com) with widows and orphans, $30,000 raised to build three homes at the Village of Hope, and a 20 ft. container filled with school supplies, sports equipment, computers, children's books, and tools ready to send to Rwanda by mid March.  This was truly a whole church effort.  Congratulations to all who participated!

During the four weeks I spent in Fresno I was priviledged to speak to the whole congregation and meet with hundreds of people in their homes, Sunday schools, small groups, and bible studies to talk about the hope that God is bringing to Rwanda.

Many thanks to Pastor Scott Hanson, Dr. Allan and Bernice Hedberg, Jon Ball and the many other leaders who participated in this project.  We look forward to welcoming two teams from the Bridge in the summer and continuing this connection.
