My faith in Jesus Christ compels me to follow his example by serving the poor, the oppressed and the needy in a nation that desperately needs healing. God gave me a strong desire while growing up in Africa to be involved in development that would have a long term impact. I am privileged to be a servant of the Rwandan people by responding to their vision for empowering future generations of Rwandan young people and teachers through a quality Christian education. This is truly one of the most significant needs in Africa.

Growing up in Africa, I developed a passion to help needy people around me. After years of study and observing the poverty, corruption, and disease that the African people continue to face despite over fifty years of "development" efforts, I came to believe there was one central issue: the African people have never been truly empowered to solve their own problems. I believe that a high quality education which promotes creativity and problem solving and is based on a thoroughly biblical worldview will in fact produce a generation of Rwandan leaders who will positively influence every sector of their society to the Glory of God.
